Independence Day, added upon

Let music swell the breeze and ring from all the trees
Sweet freedom's song;
Let mortal tongues awake;
Let all that breathe partake;
Let rocks their silence break, the sound prolong.

Happy Independence Day, on this cold and windy 4th of July, from this ex-pat Brit/Kiwi and my favourite little Peruvian boys.

  1. Oooh I love your sparkler pictures! I took some last night but I wasn't happy with how they looked. Except one cute one where Audrey is scaring Javier the Chihuahua by waving an active sparkler within six feet of him! LOL ... The little boys are precious ... and I love the patriotic lyric. Happy July the Fifth! God bless America.

  3. Funny but it was soooooo hot here in June, we nearly died. Now in what's normally an ultra-hot month in SC, it's much more like early June. I'm sure it'll change. As to all the frenchie stuff ... we're Francophiles! What can I say? At our house we like all things French! Toast, fries, twists ... LOL! My brother-in-law is an actual Frenchman.
